Andrew Luck injury update: Colts QB officially active for fantasy owners in Week 6

After starting Matt Hasselbeck for two straight weeks, Luck is ready to take control of the Colts offense again. We break down the fantasy implications.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is officially active for Sunday Night Football in Week 6. He returns to action against the New England Patriots after missing two weeks with a shoulder injury.

Some of the Colts beat writers were wary of Luck's chances to play in Week 6, but after he was able to practice in full on Friday, his outlook improved significantly. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport even said Luck could've played in Week 5 if the Colts needed him.

Fantasy impact: Indy is on a two-game win streak with Hasselbeck under center, but fantasy owners are happy to have Luck active again. The Patriots are currently averaging the second-most points per game in the NFL. Luck will need to throw often to keep up with them.

The over/under for the Patriots-Colts matchup is 53.5. That's about as appealing as it gets for fantasy purposes. Expect plenty of points on both sides tonight.
