Mike Evans won't be limited Sunday for Buccaneers, fantasy owners, per report

The Buccaneers will need more from Mike Evans going forward, and it appears they'll begin to get it in Week 3. We break down the fantasy implications.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans will not be on a "pitch count" for Week 3's matchup with the Houston Texans, according to Sports Talk Florida's Jenna Laine.

Evans has been dealing with a hamstring injury that he suffered in the Buccaneers' second preseason game, one that kept him out of action in Week 1 and severely limited him in Week 2. Against the Saints last week, Evans was targeted just three times and played on just 61 percent of the team's snaps, occupying a "decoy" role. With Austin Seferian-Jenkins now out for 4-6 weeks, expect Evans' training wheels to come off.

Fantasy Spin: It appears the worst is over for Evans' hamstring injury, and the coaching staff is ready to throw caution to the wind after easing their stud wideout back into action. Against a Texans defense that has been exploited in the secondary during their first two games, expect Jameis Winston to look in Evans' direction early and often.

At 100 percent, Evans can be penned into WR1 slots across leagues of all formats, and won't require a second thought. Vincent Jackson is also deserving of a boost due to extra attention on Evans, and with Seferian-Jenkins out of action.
