Mike Gillislee will start at running back in place of LeSean McCoy for the Buffalo Bills’ Week 8 matchup against the New England Patriots. With McCoy out with a hamstring injury, Gillislee will be in the backfield to start the game for the Bills.
Despite being the starter, the Buffalo Bills will use a rotation at the running back position and “stay with the hot hand“ according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter. Jonathan Williams and Reggie Bush will also see a share of opportunities. Whoever is able to get going early will see those opportunities continue as the Bills look to defeat the New England Patriots for the second time this season.
Fantasy Outlook: Will Mike Gillislee set to start Week 8 for the Buffalo Bills, he will definitely see his fair share of opportunities to get a rhythm early and take control of the rotation that will be used against the New England Patriots. Fantasy owners should expect to see Gillislee to get opportunities early. He will be a solid Flex or RB2 option for owners lacking depth at that position.
