Lamar Miller will be active for the Houston Texans Week 8 against the Detroit Lions. Dealing with a shoulder injury that caused him to miss part of his previous game, Miller will be active and hopefully see his normal workload for the Texans, according to NFL reporter John McClain. Due to his injury, question marks about durability loom over Miller both this week and going forward. To protect his shoulder, the Houston Texans may limit his touches and use other options like Alfred Blue in his place.
Fantasy Outlook: Despite being hampered by a shoulder injury, Lamar Miller will be active for the Houston Texans against the Detroit Lions. Given the bevy of injuries to running backs, fantasy owners are relieved that one of their top starters will be active for Week 8. Even though Miller is listed as active, owners will be paying close attention to his production for fear of aggravation. Lamar Miller should be a solid play at RB2 or Flex this week but his touches may be limited to protect his shoulder.
