The Week 5 matchup between the Chicago Bears and the Indianapolis Colts features two teams sitting near the bottom of the league. We've got the fantasy projections courtesy of numberFire.

Chicago Bears

Alshon Jefffery’s yardage totals have decreased every single week since the start of the season. It’s an alarming trend to see for his fantasy owners. The good news is teammate Kevin White has been placed on injured reserve, which mean’s Jeffery is going to be highly targeted moving forward. In Week 5, he’s up against a Colts defense that is giving up 277 passing yards per game to opposing teams. Now would be as good a time as any for Jeffery to score his first touchdown of the season. Don’t be surprised if he goes over 100 yards receiving as well. Jeffery is due for a big game.

Jeffery will need help from running back Jordan Howard if the Bears are to pick up their second win of the season on Sunday. Howard ran for 111 yards on 23 carries against Detroit in Week 4. Jeremy Langford is still weeks away from returning and John Fox called Howard outstanding following the win over Detroit. The Indianapolis Colts are very generous to opposing running games. Howard will be all over them in Week 5.

Indianapolis Colts

The Colts offensive line is suspect, and the team has dealt with its share of injuries in the passing game. That’s why quarterback Andrew Luck has been so inconsistent this year. A home game against the Chicago Bears is a welcomed opportunity for Luck to get back to his old self. Luck couldn’t do enough to help the Colts beat the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 4, but the Chicago Bears shouldn’t offer much resistance. Luck is a good bet to surpass 300 yards and post three touchdowns at home in Week 5.

Wide receiver T.Y. Hilton should benefit from Luck’s good fortune. He’s scored a touchdown in each of the last two games. With Donte Moncrief likely still a few weeks away from returning, Hilton should draw consistent targets from Luck. Keep in mind he’s been targeted 44 times through four games. With his talent and that much volume coming his way, Hilton is always a good bet to reach far and above his projected totals each week.
