Three games into his very first NFL season, and Philadelphia Eagles rookie quarterback Carson Wentz is doing much more than the team could have ever hoped for. He has led them to wins in all three of their games in 2016 and he has yet to throw an interception.
The Eagles and their fans should be very excited about the future of this team with Wentz under center.
Fantasy Impact: This week, Philadelphia and its young quarterback will face off against the 1-3 Detroit Lions.
Wentz has a good chance at putting up some nice numbers against the Lions defense, which has allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks so far this season. Detroit has given up at least two touchdown passes in nine of its last 10 regular season games.
Yahoo! projects the Eagles’ quarterback to throw for 257 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception against the Lions on Sunday. Fantasy owners should definitely consider starting Wentz this week, especially if they are questioning the Week 5 matchup of their current starting quarterback.
