New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker’s shoulder injury has apparently gotten worse since playing in the team’s Week 3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, according to Brian Costello of the New York Post. Decker showed up on the injury report with a sore shoulder following an impressive performance in Week 2’s division win over the Buffalo Bills. The former AFC receiving touchdown leader was limited in practice leading up to Sunday and only had one reception against the Chiefs. Decker’s status for Week 4 is unknown until the Jets can understand the severity of his shoulder injury.
Fantasy Impact: This is bad news for Decker and his fantasy owners. Though unofficial, the chances of the veteran wideout being able to play against Seattle in Week 4 look bleak. Should Decker not be able to go, look for Quincy Enunwa to fill the No. 2 WR spot behind Brandon Marshall in his absence.
