The Green Bay Packers will likely be relying heavily on Aaron Jones vs. the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6.
Jones has become one of the biggest surprises of the fantasy season and has quickly turned into Green Bay’s featured running back. After being the third-string back behind Ty Montgomery and Jamaal Williams, injuries allowed Jones to assume the featured back role over the last two games.
Jones would respond with 174 yards and two scores on just 32 carries in wins over the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys. It looks like Jones will be the featured back for at least one more week with Montgomery still working his way back from a rib injury.
Fantasy impact: Jones is set to face a Vikings defense allowing the second-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. Even if Jones gets most of the touches, it’s too risky to play him in Minnesota. So keep him benched this week.
