Fantasy football Week 6: Jameis Winston, start or sit?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston has thrown for 300-plus yards in three straight games. He’ll look to keep that trend going against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6.

While Arizona has been known for defense in recent years, they’ve actually been very generous to quarterbacks this season.

Fantasy impact: Many fantasy owners looked to 2017 as Winston’s breakout year. So far he’s shown flashes of that breakout potential in the first quarter of the season. Still, he’s been teasing owners.

A big game against Arizona would boost their confidence levels. Only five teams have given up more points to quarterbacks this season, so a big game from Winston is certainly possible.

What does make things a bit tougher is the fact the game is on the road. Winston has benefitted from three home starts this season and fairly friendly opponents. Overall, it would be wise to trust in his coming growth and start him against the Cardinals on Sunday.
