Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas caught just two passes for nine yards against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 7. He was targeted six times in the game.

In Week 8, Thomas gets the Kansas City Chiefs. Only one team has given up more fantasy points to receivers than the Chiefs this season. Thomas owners feel free to lick your chops.

Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners shouldn’t be worried about Thomas’ dud performance last week. Prior to his two-catch performance, No. 88 posted a season-high 10 catches for 133 yards against the New York Giants.

What’s more concerning for fantasy owners is that Thomas has no touchdown catches through six games. He’s off to a slow start in that department to say the least.

Fortunately, no team in the league has given up more touchdowns to wide receivers this season than Kansas City. Look for Thomas to finally do a touchdown dance this week. Five catches and a long-awaited score will definitely make his owners happy.
