The Cincinnati Bengals are no longer listing John Ross on their final injury report for Week 8, meaning he’s ready to rock against the Indianapolis Colts.
The Bengals have been desperate to get Ross onto the field and into a big role in the offense ever since taking him ninth overall from Washington in this year’s NFL draft. However, Ross had surgery to repair a torn labrum shortly after Washington's pro day this offseason.
That led to Ross being limited in training camp and the preseason before suffering a knee injury, which has had him in and out of practice ever since. He has gotten two full weeks of practice in leading up to Sunday’s clash with the Colts, so he should be in for a nice workload.
Fantasy Advice: Ross is a super-sleeper play this week against a Colts defense allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Even so, keep Ross benched until he proves to be a viable fantasy option in this offense.
