Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston did not let an AC sprain in his throwing shoulder slow him down in Week 7. Winston lit up the Buffalo Bills for 384 yards and three touchdowns on 32 completions. He also had an interception in the close loss. Winston injured his shoulder in Week 6 against Arizona on the first drive of the game.
Winston gets a crack at division rivals the Carolina Panthers Sunday. Since Week 3 the Panthers have given up over 200 yards passing and multiple touchdowns to every opposing QB except Chicago Bears rookie Mitchell Trubisky. In four career games against the Panthers, Winston is averaging around 260 yards passing per game and has four touchdowns.
Fantasy impact: You cannot tell Winston was forced out of the game in Week 6 based on how well he played in Week 7, against a tough defense no less. Winston is coming off his best game of the season and now gets a much easier opponent Sunday. The Panthers have been lit up a lot this season and have some big holes in their defense because of injuries. Winston is in a great position to have another monster game.
