Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten is set to take on the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. He’s been held to just two catches over the last two weeks combined.
Only one team has given up fewer points to the tight end position than Green Bay this year.
Fantasy impact: Witten is an all-time great. Everyone knows that. He’ll definitely produce the rest of the season, but right now it’s hard to trust him. On the other hand, Dallas and Green Bay may get caught in a shootout.
Should that scenario happen, Witten would certainly benefit. He should also see more than the two targets he saw against the Los Angeles Rams last week. Whether to start or sit him is a tough call. In this case it really depends on the size of your league.
Deeper leagues will definitely see owners starting Witten, while smaller ones where two tight ends can be owned. It’s a close call, but if you have to choose, start him.
