Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker has had four catches or more and 70 yards+ in each of Miami’s first three games. The 2015 first round pick is finally living up to the talent he has always possessed. With Jay Cutler constantly looking to push the ball downfield, Parker’s numbers should only increase has he gains more continuity.
Fantasy Impact: Parker has been by far the most consistent piece of the Dolphins offense in 2017. He leads the team in receiving yards (230), yards per catch (12.8) and receiving touchdowns (1). He has taken the “Alshon Jeffrey” role from Adam Gase’s 2015 Chicago Bears in this offense as a constant deep threat that defenses must gameplan for with multiple defensive backs.
Look for Parker to have plenty of opportunities this week to make some plays on a Tennessee Titans defense that gave up almost 60 points to rookie DeShaun Watson last week. With Marcus Mariota out, the Dolphins should be able to feast on a beaten up Titans team. He enters week 5 as a solid WR2 in my book.
