The Minnesota Vikings are elated to see quarterback Teddy Bridgewater in full practice this week. However, they are going to continue to let backup QB Case Keenum run the offense in Week 10 against Washington. The Vikings are not holding Keenum back in the passing game. He took 43 passing attempts in the win Sunday. Keenum finished the contest with 27 completions for 288 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception.
Keenum should be able to stay consistent against Washington this week. Washington’s defense features stellar cornerback Josh Norman, yet it still ranks 16th at defending against the pass. Washington has eight interceptions and 22 sacks this season against opposing QBs.
Fantasy impact: Keenum is doing enough in the passing game to win; however, he is still a low fantasy producer. He only has two games with over 250 passing yards this season and he has been intercepted at least once in the Vikings’ last three outings. Keenum should not struggle too bad against Washington, but he will probably not have a big game Sunday, either.
