Fantasy football Week 11: Davante Adams start or sit?

The Packers have one receiver shining without Aaron Rodgers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams has been targeted 18 times over the last two weeks combined. He’s also caught both of Brett Hundley’s touchdown passes this season.

Should you start him against Baltimore’s third -ranked defense?

Fantasy impact: Believe or not the answer to that question is yes. It’s clear that Adams is going to be targeted heavily moving forward. Aaron Rodgers may be done for the year but fantasy owners are still going to use their receivers. Especially someone as talented as Adams, and especially in deeper leagues.

Given the circumstances Adams has put together a pretty solid season. He has six touchdowns on the year and has been targeted at least eight times in four of the last five games. Even without Rodgers at quarterback, those are some pretty solid numbers when it comes to volume.

He has yet to surpass 100 receiving yards this season, but Adams still has considerable value in PPR formats. In standard formats, he may be benched in 8-team leagues. Otherwise he’s a starter.
