Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley faces another top 10 run defense Sunday when he heads to Minnesota to take on the Vikings. Gurley has sputtered on the ground recently, failing to rush for more than 70 yards in the last two games. He still has over 100 total yards in both outings thanks to his healthy presence in the passing game.
The Vikings have owned opposing RBs, allowing the second-fewest rushing yards and touchdowns and eighth-fewest receiving yards to the position. Only one running back has scored a receiving touchdown against Minnesota all season. Gurley was shut out of the end zone for the first time since Week 6 in the win over the Houston Texans last Sunday.
Fantasy impact: Gurley is too dynamic to bench this season. He can have down weeks though and seems to be in a little bit of a lull lately. He has over 100 total yards in every game since Week 5. This week there is a chance he may not hit that mark, but he will not be too far behind. The Rams use Gurley so much he is still an RB1 this week. Just have reasonable expectations.
