Editor’s update: As expected, Martellus Bennett is not expected to play, according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport.

The New England Patriots are listing Martellus Bennett as doubtful to face the Miami Dolphins in Week 12. This marks the third-straight game in which Bennett has been listed as questionable or doubtful after re-joining the Patriots in Week 10.

That followed a disastrous stint with the Green Bay Packers that led to him being waived. A shoulder injury was largely what led to him being waived, but now, a hamstring injury is also plaguing him.

The Patriots will be fine without Bennett as long as Rob Gronkowski is healthy. in two games with New England, Bennett has six grabs for 53 yards and no scores. He has been targeted six times.

Fantasy Impact: With Bennett likely out, that means Dwayne Allen has some fantasy potential next to Gronk in Week 12 vs. a struggling Dolphins defense. As for Bennett, he is not worth rostering as you enter the fantasy playoffs.
