Quarterback Blake Bortles had one of his worst games of the season against the Cleveland Browns in Week 11. The fourth-year Jacksonville Jaguars starter completed 17 passes on 30 attempts for 154 yards and a touchdown in the win. Bortles did not have an interception in the outing, but he did lose a fumble. This was the first game in which he was held under 200 yards passing since Week 5.

The passing game has taken a huge backseat to the running game in Jacksonville. That trend may need to change against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 12. The Cardinals run defense ranks in the top 10, while their passing defense ranks No. 20. They have given up the 12th-most passing yards to QBs this season and 21 touchdowns to quarterbacks, with 18 passing and three rushing scores.

Fantasy impact: Bortles has been tucked away in Jacksonville’s offense behind a tremendous running game. He has not been asked to do much this year beyond securing the ball and he has struggled with that. Bortles has at least one turnover in all but three games this season. The last two games Bortles threw two picks and lost a fumble. There is no need to consider taking Bortles off the bench this week since the Jaguars prefer the run and he cannot hold onto the ball.

Recommendation: Sit
