Charles Clay injury update: How to handle Bills TE vs. Chiefs

Charles Clay continues to work his way back from a knee injury.

Editor’s update: Clay is expected to play vs. the Chiefs, according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport.

The Buffalo Bills are listing Charles Clay as questionable for their Week 12 game vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.

Clay is still working his way back from a major knee injury sustained in Week 5, which led to him missing a month of action before returning in Week 10. In two games since returning to action, Clay has been targeted seven times, but he’s mustered up just five grabs for 40 yards and no scores with them.

Part of that was due to going from Tyrod Taylor to Nathan Peterman and back to Taylor over the last two games. Now that Clay is getting re-established with Taylor, expect the veteran tight end to get back to being productive as the fantasy playoffs inch closer.

Fantasy Advice: If Clay is active, he will face a Chiefs defense allowing the ninth-most receiving yards to tight ends this season. As long as Clay plays, put him in your starting lineup.
