Fantasy football start/sit advice Week 13: What to do with Jamison Crowder Thursday night

Crowder posted career-high numbers in Week 12. We look at the fantasy impact heading into a rivalry game Thursday night.

Washington wide receiver Jamison Crowder carried his team in the win over the New York Giants in Week 12. Crowder caught seven passes for a career-high 141 yards and a touchdown. It was his first touchdown reception this season. Crowder leads Washington in targets, receptions and receiving yards this season, but he had not caught a touchdown since Week 13 in 2016. Crowder has at least four receptions and 70 yards receiving in four straight games.

Crowder should be excited to see the Dallas Cowboys again. In their Week 8 faceoff, Crowder went off for 123 yards on nine catches. The Cowboys were plastered by the Los Angeles Chargers, specifically receiver Keenan Allen, last Thursday. Allen had 172 receiving yards himself. Dallas decided to bench cornerback Anthony Brown for rookie Chidobe Awuzie against Washington.

Fantasy impact: Crowder came out of his shell in the Week 8 game against the Cowboys and has been on fire since. Momentum is great for his Thursday night rematch with Dallas. Now, he gets a gift from the Cowboys with a personnel switch at cornerback. Crowder could easily post 100-plus yards receiving with a score on back-to-back Thursday nights in Week 13.
