The Baltimore Ravens are rewarding running back Alex Collins with the starting role in the backfield after his monster Week 8 performance against the Miami Dolphins. Collins went off for 143 total yards, rushing 18 times for 113 yards and catching two passes for 30 yards in the blowout win.

Collins gets another chance to have a big game against the Tennessee Titans Sunday. The Titans’ rushing defense is allowing a little over 100 rushing yards per game to their opponents. However, they have only given up three rushing touchdowns this season. Collins had not scored a touchdown yet this season.

Fantasy impact: It was only a matter of time before Collins took over as the feature back in Baltimore — he averaged 5 yards or more per carry in five of his seven games this season. Now that Collins will get a lot more carries, he has at least an RB2 appeal. The Titans should not present much of a problem for Collins if he gets 20 touches again this week.

Recommendation: Start
