It's time for another week of fantasy rankings! Jared Goff has become a true fantasy quarterback in his second season. He torched the Giants in Week 9 for 311 passing yards and four touchdowns. Having an offensive-minded head coach has certainly helped him to unleash his potential. I also like that the team has surrounded him with some excellent weapons. Todd Gurley has both helped and been helped by Goff's development. The remainder of the season should give us a good gauge on how high he'll be drafted in 2018. He faces some tough defenses down the stretch.
Dak Prescott continues to look good in his sophomore season. We continue to wait for the Ezekiel Elliott situation to be resolved, which could give a boost to Prescott's fantasy value. I think Prescott's passing and rushing numbers would be given a significant boost. Last week he passed for 249 yards, threw two touchdowns, and rushed for a touchdown. Those totals were good for the third-most points among fantasy quarterbacks in Week 9. The remaining schedule isn't daunting, so I like his prospects for leading teams to a fantasy championship.
Baltimore, Kansas City, Oakland, and Philadelphia have their bye this week. Carson Wentz and Alex Smith are the top two quarterbacks in fantasy football. They will definitely be missed for Week 10. Derek Carr has been up and down but will also be missed in larger leagues. Josh McCown and Tyrod Taylor should be looked at as bye week replacement starters.
Jameis Winston continues to deal with a shoulder injury. He's out for Week 10 but hopefully will be able to heal up and come back strong in a few weeks. Teddy Bridgewater will most likely return as Minnesota's backup quarterback this week. Things will get really interesting moving forward, as it remains to be decided if Case Keenum is a just placeholder. The worst injury news was the loss of Deshaun Watson for the rest of the 2017 season. We're all hoping he'll come back strong for next season.
My sleeper pick for Week 10 is Ryan Fitzpatrick. He's always been a pretty good quarterback and this will be a revenge game facing the Jets. I realize he's without Mike Evans but the Buccaneers have enough weapons to do some damage. Having a full week to prepare will also really help. I think Fitzpatrick will pass for 290 yards and three touchdowns. I'm a big believer in starting guys in revenge matchups and this is a big one with the way things played out in New York to begin last season.
