Fantasy football start/sit, Week 10: What to do with John Brown Thursday night

A change at quarterback means a down turn in production for Brown. We look at the fantasy impact.

NFL: Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

John Brown has been a ghost for the Arizona Cardinals since starting quarterback Carson Palmer was placed on injured reserve in Week 7. His one catch in Week 9 was on the opening drive of the game and went for 52 yards. He was targeted four times in the contest all in the first half. His lone catch in Week 7 only netted six yards.

Thursday night Brown could be looking at another very quiet night against the Seattle Seahawks. He has notoriously struggled against Seattle. In their last meeting, Brown had one catch for just 12 yards.

Fantasy impact: Without Palmer, Brown has been practically fantasy irrelevant. The Cardinals are clearly favoring the run right now with Adrian Peterson looking like a beast in the backfield. That leaves a very small amount of passes to go around. All of the Cardinals receivers are probably going to see their production decrease except Larry Fitzgerald. There are no upsides for Brown Thursday night.

Recommendation: Sit
