The New York Jets are listing running back Matt Forte as questionable against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16. He did not practice this week.
A knee injury kept Forte limited for the past two months. He missed two games before returning in Week 12 vs. the Carolina Panthers, but he has failed to top 40 total yards in three of four games since then.
Forte has been losing touches to Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire, as it is clear the Jets are seeing what their younger running backs can do. That is why Forte is a very risky play for the remainder of the season.
Fantasy Advice: If Forte plays, he faces a Chargers defense allowing the third-most rushing yards to running backs this season. Even so, Forte is not worth playing, and you are better off cutting him and finding better bench depth.
