Greenbrier Classic 2012: Phil Mickelson Likely To Miss Cut For Second Straight Year

Sometimes a player simply doesn't like a certain golf course. Or maybe the golf course doesn't like a certain player?

In the case of Phil Mickelson and The Greenbrier, either scenario might be true. Mickelson finished his second round in the 2012 Greenbrier Classic at 2-over par for the tournament, which leaves him toward the bottom of the leaderboard. His two-day total also puts Mickelson at risk for missing his second consecutive cut at this tournament.

With the tournament leaders inching closer to the 10-under par mark, Mickelson's chances at playing this weekend become that much less likely throughout the afternoon. Another big-name player also has his work cut out for him to stay above the cut-line: Tiger Woods.

Currently playing his front-nine, Woods begins his second round at 1-over par and just one shot clear of Mickelson at this point.
