With his victory at the 2013 PGA Championship, Jason Dufner joined the ranks of major championship winners. He also claimed a very large check, winning the $1.44 million first-place prize.

Dufner made two bogeys over his final 28 holes, finishing at 10-under, two strokes ahead of Jim Furyk. While he's had a successful PGA Tour career, Dufner's winnings on Sunday will more than double his season earnings in 2013. Dufner came in with slightly less than $1.2 million in earnings this season. He'll jump all the way into the top 15 on the PGA Tour money list after beginning the week in 61st.

Although he came up short of winning another major championship, Furyk walks away with a significant payday. By finishing second, Furyk won $865,000. Henrik Stenson also won more than half-a-million dollars, winning $545,000 by finishing solo third.

The entire purse is worth $8 million with the top 18 finishers each collecting more than $100,000. Here is a closer look at the payout for the top 10, led by Dufner who added another seven figures to his bank account.
