The final group is now on the course and the third round of the Masters is in full swing. Bubba Watson didn't get off to a great start on Saturday, but rebounded quickly and remains in control at the top of the leaderboard.
Watson opened the round with a comfortable three-stroke lead. His round, however, got off to a less than ideal start with a bogey on the opening hole. The immediate reaction was "here we go" but Watson did well to immediately end those concerns, at least for now. He drilled his second shot into the green of the par-5 second hole, leaving less than 15 feet for eagle. Watson has putted well all week and drilled the eagle putt to improve to 8-under on the round.
John Senden, who opened the round in second place at 4-under, carded two early bogeys. With no other player better than 3-under, Watson now leads by five strokes. He'll likely need some more red numbers if he's going to maintain that lead as low scores can be had. Miguel Angel Jimenez is the current leader in the clubhouse at 3-under after shooting a 6-under 66. Rickie Fowler is 5-under on his round heading to No. 18. Watson had a chance for a birdie at No. 3, only to see his putt just miss.
Jordan Spieth was briefly 4-under following a birdie at No. 3. The 20-year-old didn't stay there long, giving the shot right back with a bogey at the fourth. Here's a snapshot of the leaderboard as the late groups begin to make their way towards the turn.
