St. Andrews boasts some of the largest greens in golf. In fact, there are just 11 greens on the course and some are 100 yards deep. Four holes have their own greens, while seven others share a putting surface. One quirk is that the shared greens always add up to 18 -- i.e. Nos. 2 and 16 share a green, Nos. 3 and 15, etc.
