How to watch the Waste Management Phoenix Open live online, TV schedule, radio and more

Wooooo it's Phoenix Open week. Here's how to watch the party.

The wildest and rowdiest event on the PGA Tour tees off Thursday morning at TPC Scottsdale. The Waste Management Phoenix Open is unlike any other event on tour. Sure, you will find plenty of drunks and parties scattered about courses on the circuit, but none is as historic, consolidated and hyped as the Phoenix Open.

The center of that party is, of course, the famous par-3 16th hole. The hole has evolved over the years from a "stadium" like design, with mounding and hills for fans to congregate on, and still have a view of the golf into a full-throttle arena. The hole is completely surrounded by multi-level skyboxes and grandstands. It's covered with branding and and promo gimmicks now, but there's still nothing like it in the game. The hole defines the entire tournament and is a highlight of the early season schedule on the PGA Tour.

Naturally, the coverage this week will focus on that 16th hole. It's what everyone wants to see at this event and there will be streams dedicated to every group that rolls through there. PGA Tour Live, the nascent subscription service offered by the tour, will have its usual featured groups on their stream in the morning half of the day in the first two rounds.

That will spotlight the top names in the field -- defending champ Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson, Justin Thomas, Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler et al. But after those groups finish up and the TV coverage window begins at 3 p.m. ET, PGA Tour Live will switch to a "Featured Holes" stream that will focus on the 16th. They've done this in the past and it's obviously a nice second screen to follow if you're largely interested it in whatever is happening at that spot.

Golf Channel and NBC will take the reins this week. This is typically a CBS event, but with the Super Bowl and the hours of attendant pregame inanities slotted for that network on Sunday, they will yield to the tour's other major network partner. That means this will be the debut of David Feherty as a full-time Golf Channel and NBC analyst. He'll be in the tower with NBC and they've promoted his debut everywhere this week. He is a global treasure for the game, so it will be good to have this early season taste of Feherty in a slightly new role with a network that will hopefully let him do and say whatever he wants.

This is a nice diversion from a weekend dominated by football. There's no need to watch all that pregame nonsense and, barring a weather delay, this should finish up just before kickoff. And before Sunday, it's a good way to ignore your work and hate-watch a party in the desert you want to be at instead. There will be multiple streams to do so! Here are all your options for the entire week at the Phoenix Open (all times ET):
