Victor Dubuisson is a mercurial Frenchman with a reputation for showing no emotion regardless of the circumstances. Dumping one in the water? Not a flinch. Demolishing the USA Ryder Cup team? Not even a grin. He just navigates his way around the course, says absolutely nothing to everyone and continues on his way.
So it was a bit startling to see him lose it on Sunday at Doral -- chucking his ball in anger and then taking it out on the bag while his caddie tried to avoid the crossfire. Doral, specifically this recent redesign under new(ish) owner Donald Trump, is a controversial track that players and caddies have ripped in the past. There's water on just about every hole, almost every shot and the wind is up a bit on Sunday making things even more difficult and frustrating.
Dubuisson's eruption may not be the last of the round but it will probably be the most entertaining.
