2016 PGA Championship live stream: How to watch Friday's round online

The PGA Championship resumes bright and early on Friday morning from Baltusrol. If the second round is anything like the opening round, it won't be a great day for the big names. The field at the PGA Championship is loaded with 97 of the top 100 players in the world, but many of the best got off to a very rocky start.

Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott and Phil Mickelson are all even par or worse after the opening round. Johnson got off to an especially rough start, shooting a 7-over round of 77 on Thursday. The U.S. Open champion will have a lot of ground to make up even to make the cut, yet alone get into contention.

The entire field is chasing Jimmy Walker, who opened up with a round of 65. He leads at 5-under heading into the second round. Emiliano Grillo, Ross Fisher and Martin Kaymer are tied for second place behind Walker at 4-under. Kaymer and Henrik Stenson -- at 3-under -- are the lone players with major championships in the top 5.

While the very top of the leaderboard may lack some of the world's best, a couple top players are lurking. Rickie Fowler and Jason Day are among a large contingent of players tied for ninth place at 2-under. Although they didn't finish the first round in red numbers, Spieth and Scott begin Friday five shots off the lead.

The field will be back on the field early Friday morning. There will be only limited coverage of the early going, however, with marquee group streams the only coverage prior to the television coverage kicking in. On Friday morning, that means the spotlight will be on the pairings of Dustin Johnson, Danny Willett and Henrik Stenson and Jordan Spieth, Bubba Watson and Sergio Garcia. Of those six players, only Stenson will open the second round under par. The streams will begin at 8:30 a.m. ET.

When the television coverage begins on TNT at 1 p.m., online coverage will also increase. There will be a simulcast online stream of the TV coverage. The stream will run from 1 to 7 p.m., allowing viewers to watch most of the afternoon wave play live.

Here is a complete look at the second round coverage. All times Eastern.
