Tuesday's MACtion slate was pretty dull -- two blowouts -- but Kent State-Ohio gave us not just a fat guy touchdown, but arguably the fat guy touchdown of all time.
On a fake punt, the ball ended up with upback Nate Terhune -- a 6'4, 265-pound defensive lineman with two sacks on the year -- and he went 61 yards to paydirt IN STYLE:
OHHHHHHH FAT GUY HURDLE FAT GUY HURDLE FAT GUY HURDLE FAT GUY HURDLE
Note: Terhune had a similar run last year -- 31 yards, no touchdown -- that also featured a hurdle.
GET THIS GUY OFF DEFENSE. GET HIM OFF DEFENSE NOW. GIVE HIM THE BALL EVERY SNAP. I'M SORRY, DRI ARCHER, BUT 5'8, 175-POUND SUPER-FAST PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER INTERESTING TO ME.
What did we learn again tonight?
Always and forever, y'all.
