The Oakland Athletics are supposed to play a baseball game against the Twins Saturday afternoon, but there's a problem. A recurring problem. A recurring poop problem. It's known that Oakland Coliseum has issues, and not just bathroom locksmithery issues. The sewage system is in shambles, and when it rains, it pours. Poop. Poopwater comes out of the sewers. (Note for non-homeowners: poopwater is supposed to go into a sewer). It's all happening:
VP of baseball operations David Rinetti says that rain is to blame for the sewage issue this morning. #Athletics— Susan Slusser (@susanslusser) September 21, 2013
OK, the coaches' room might be in peril soon. They're asking about sandbags. #Athletics— Susan Slusser (@susanslusser) September 21, 2013
Sandbags! It's a poonami!
Mike Gallego just walked by me, shaking his head, and said, "It's bad." Kurt Suzuki is yelling sewage coming out of faucets now. #Athletics— Susan Slusser (@susanslusser) September 21, 2013

So, that's gonna need some fixing.
