LeBron James calls Cavs 'fragile' after loss to Raptors

After Cleveland's fourth straight loss, LeBron called out the mental makeup of his team -- and said things could get worse.

The Cavaliers lost 110-93 to the Raptors Saturday night, Cleveland's fourth consecutive loss. The loss dropped the Cavs to 5-7. LeBron James spoke after the game, and he didn't exactly pull punches.

"We're a very fragile team right now. We were a fragile team from the beginning. A little adversity hits us, and we just shell up. That's something that will come with experience."

James spun the criticism in a positive light, as he tried to say that the team had room for improvement. In fact, he said "I'm very optimistic" a few sentences afterwards. But, it's not exactly something you want to hear about the mental makeup of a team, even if it is early in the year.

And he added:

"It's not even the lowest it's going to get for us."

Again, he meant this in a positive light -- he explained that 5-7 to start the year is better than some of the situations he's been in after various NBA Finals losses -- but it sounds like he's guaranteeing future failures for his team. You can guarantee these sound bytes will be replayed often.

This isn't the only way James called out his teammates Saturday night -- he was overheard yelling at his teammates for not cutting on an inbounds play in the fourth quarter.
