Broadcast rules are often outdated and stupid: you can't watch NFL games in your hometown if the game isn't sold out, SportsCenter has to show weird still images of things happening in the Olympics, and non-CBS stations can't use highlights of March Madness until the day after the game.
ABC affiliate WCJB in Gainesville knew that, but they knew they had a duty to show their viewers the incredible action of the Florida-Dayton in the Elite Eight. So anchor Zach Aldridge and one other guy dressed up in blue, and two other guys dressed up in red, and they recreated the game.

A DEEP BUZZER-BEATING THREE BY "SCOTTIE WILBEKIN" THAT DEFINITELY WENT IN AND NOT JUST DUE TO THE MAGIC OF EDITING
Gotta say it was poor sportsmanship by Wilbekin to do a flying celebration just to point out that the Dayton Flyers were getting whooped
Look how sad the Dayton players are.
"Michael Frazier II" did the Rasheed Wallace Carmelo Anthony "three to the head" after his made shots
And the Gators are headed to the Final Four!
We eagerly await WCJB's coverage of their Final Four matchup.
