Game 1 between the Spurs and Mavericks was TNT's first broadcast since the announcement that Craig Sager has been diagnosed with leukemia. After the broadcast crew paid tribute to Sager with snazzy outfits, Sager's longtime interview adversary -- abrupt answerer Gregg Popovich -- spoke with Craig Sager Jr. on camera and sent a touching personal message to Sager Sr.

Those two guys have been working side-by-side forever, any tension between them has always been tongue-in-cheek, and you can tell how badly Popovich wants Sager back out there with him, just like the rest of us do. Feel better, Sages.
