Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton were one of the coolest pairs of teammates ever, connecting on alley-oops and leading the mid-90s Sonics to the postseason year after year. Fast-forward 20 years: Shawn Kemp Jr. is a senior forward at Washington, and Gary Payton II is a junior guard at Oregon State. Their teams met for the first time since Payton II transferred to Oregon State this year, and their parents watched the game together:

Kemp Jr.'s Huskies won 53-46 over Payton II's Beavers. Kemp Jr. had eight points, while Payton Jr. had four to go with eight rebounds, three assists, and four blocks.
Earlier, Payton II had joined his father in the Oregon State record books as the only other player in Beavers history to record a triple-double.
