J.J. Watt actually upset Andy Dalton with the corniest joke ever

This line by J.J. Watt actually cost the Texans the game. They were forced to retroactively forfeit.

"Our goal was to come out here and make the Red Rifle look like a Red Ryder BB Gun."

He definitely heard that line from his dad two weeks ago and has been saving it for the Texans battle against the Bengals.

Dalton didn't seem to be a big fan of the joke.

"I'm disappointed in him. It's the integrity of this game. I have a lot of respect for him. He's a really good player. There's a lot of kids and lot of people that look up to him, and for him to make comments like that, he's just showing that that's acceptable to do that kind of stuff, to say that kind of stuff.

It's disappointing for one of the best players in this league to come out and say something like that. That's all I'm going to say about that. I think J.J.'s a good player. But for him to be one of the best in this league and to show that integrity, it shows what he's about, which is disappointing.

The Red Ryder BB Gun's response might have been just as corny as Watt's joke. Something needs to be done about this. Goodell needs to kick them both out of the league, or at least fine them. I'm sick.

Update: On Wednesday, Dalton clarified his remarks and said he had "no ill will" toward Watt.

"What I did wrong is I responded to what somebody said he said," Dalton said. "I never even heard his interview. So I don't know the context in which it was said.

"There's no feud between me and J.J. We lost the game, he said what he said and we're moving on. That's in the past now."

And so ends the corniest "feud" of the NFL season.
