The St. Louis Blues have a new pig friend, and his name is "Piggy Smalls."

It all started with an honest mistake on Instagram. On Wednesday, the St. Louis Blues' Instagram account accidentally wrote the words "roar bacon" in a caption, celebrating a goal that tied a match against the Blackhawks (they would later win 6-5.) Presumably, they meant to say "roar back":
Well that was something.#OurBlues roar bacon with three second-period goals to tie the game 5-5.#STLvsCHI
Fans took notice and jokingly started using #RoarBacon on social media. Rather than correcting their mistake, the Blues decided to embrace #RoarBacon.
And that's why, on Friday, Blues captain David Backes brought a pig to the locker room, as seen in the video above.
The pig allegedly (and unsurprisingly) took a dump in coach Ken Hitchcock's office:
The pig's name is "Piggy Smalls." Backes said that it took a poop in Hitch's office and then admitted some players have wanted to do that.

For his part, Hitchcock wouldn't confirm if the poop came from the pig or his players, but it definitely smelled like poop:
Hitch on pig: "I don't know if that's a message from the players or from the pig. It was very clear and had a great aroma." #stlblues
