Reds manager goes on tirade about media, uses 'F' word 77 times

That is so many cusses.

The Cincinnati Reds have lost seven of the last eight games and manager Bryan Price is pretty ticked off about EVERYTHING. During Price's media session on Monday, he took exception to reports that catcher Devin Mesoraco was not with the team for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. So he let the media get a real earful, according to Cincinnati.com.

The television crews left and about 10 reporters remained in the room. That's when Price took his turn doing the talking.

What followed was a five-minute, 34-second expletive-filled tirade. The final tally was 77 uses of the "F" word or a variant and 11 uses of a vulgar term for feces (two bovine, one equine).

The basis of Price's argument was that he was not fond of sharing information with the media that could be used to his opponent's advantage.

A snippet of that tirade:

To put it another way, 77 uses of the "F" word in 5:34 averages out to a "f***" every 4.33 seconds. That is a higher cuss rate than The Wolf of Wall Street. Or any other movie ever made. Well done!

Let's hope the Reds start winning soon. For Price's own mental health, if for no other reason.
