Reggie Miller's cutting analysis went to next-level rambling on Monday night during Warriors vs. Pelicans. We learned two things from this clip: Reggie believes Anthony Davis is better than Stephen Curry, and he has ZERO clue what a "pun" is.
This is the Alanis Morissette's "Ironic" of sports takes. Well, except that irony is a far more nuanced concept than a pun. It's simply humorous (and often cheesy) word play.
"I think Anthony Davis is starting to recognize 'You know what, I might be the best player on the floor -- no pun intended, Steph Curry. I do a little bit more for my team.'"
It's a good thing you didn't intend a pun, because it wasn't one. Maybe you meant "no offense"? That would have made much more sense.
