With Adrian Beltre out due to an injury, the Rangers promoted their top prospect, Joey Gallo, from Double-A on Tuesday. Gallo made an immediate impact in his MLB debut. In fact, he made history. And he crushed a huge home run, to boot. One that made his father cry:
What's that? You'd like to watch that home run on a loop? Say no more!
Distance on the Gallo HR: 418 ft. And, he set a franchise record for number of RBI in a debut with 4. #WelcomeToTheShow

His first Major League at-bat was also his first Major League hit, a two-run single. His second was a two-run homer. His third at-bat? Just a double off the wall. He's a triple short of the cycle right now. Have yourself a game, kid.
