Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are making a movie about the FIFA scandal

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are combining on a movie that will be of some interest to American soccer fans.

The American side of the FIFA scandal is getting the movie treatment with Ben Affleck among those bringing story to the big the screen.

Capping off eight days of negotiations, Warner Bros. has won a bidding war for Houses of Deceit, a book by BuzzFeed investigative reporter Ken Bensinger that is being seen as the definitive account of American FIFA exec Chuck Blazer and his role in the largest sports and public corruption scandal in history.

That's right, we are getting a movie about the man with the luxury apartment just for his cats, brought to us by the guys who gave us "HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM APPLES?" Seems like a surefire win, if you ask me. Only time will tell if it makes more money than the 11 or 12 dollars United Passions made.
