"Classy" is an overused word but there's really no other way to describe a guy like Shane Victorino. Really nice move by the former Boston outfielder to thank Red Sox fans after being traded to the Angels on Monday evening.
You can really tell he's not just giving lip service here, either. Look how emotional the guy was:
And as if that wasn't convincing enough, there's also this:
Victorino said he would not use "Three Little Birds" as his at-bat song again out of respect for Boston fans. Really broke down crying then— Pete Abraham (@PeteAbe) July 28, 2015
Victorino's time with Boston may be up, but it's safe to say The Flyin' Hawaiian won't be forgetting the good times he had there. Especially the team's 2013 World Series win.
