ESPN has been aggressive in touting its new "pylon cam" during Monday Night Football broadcasts and while it's been a cool new addition, it hasn't really offered much. That changed on Monday when ESPN used it to perfectly show a player's feet on an interception.
The days of zooming in from a distant camera trying to see something as small as a fraction of an inch of turf are over. At least near the goal line. Long live pylon cam. Now all we need is one that covers the entire sideline.
