Serena Williams originally looked to be in trouble early Friday night. Losing 6-3 in the first set to fellow American Bethanie Mattek-Sands, you almost had to wonder if the coveted "Serena Slam" could be another fairytale never meant to be.

Yep, in the third set, Williams went hard and turned it on demolishing Mattek-Sands 6-0. Williams now moves on to the Round of 16 where she'll meet another American, 20 year old Madison Keys.
