Safety Jordan Lucas said #PennState's captains actually buried the game tape from #Temple. Buried it out by the practice field Sunday.

This is definitely one way to cope with the most embarassing loss your team has had in a long, long time. Temple beat Penn State on Saturday for the first time since World War II was being fought -- yes, it was in 1941. Teams have weird ways of dealing with adversity. Some stare it in the face, others bury it. Penn State chose the latter.
On burying the tape: "We're not going to dwell on the past." Adds: "We had the shovel, actually buried the tape."

"No, it's not normal," Lucas said and laughed when asked about burying the #Temple tape. Said team had some fun with it.

Whatever coping mechanism you need, I guess.
