Terrible teams come and go, but it takes a special brand of terrible to be mentioned on The Simpsons. Episodes aren't churned out in a few weeks, which means the writing team, animators, everyone involved had to be 100 percent certain the 76ers would still be terrible when this episode was planned months ago.
They were right.
