The NFL's slippery concrete epidemic almost injured Rob Gronkowski

One of the worst things to happen to a team in the NFL playoffs would be an injury that occurs outside of the field. Just when a team is inching toward the Super Bowl, no less. That almost happened to Rob Gronkowski on Sunday against the Denver Broncos when he slipped on the concrete. Luckily Gronk was OK.

This was a scary situation. No NFL player should be at risk for injury when they're supposed to be resting up on the sideline. It happened early in the regular season to Reggie Bush in St. Louis when he slipped and lost the rest of the season because of an MCL injury.
